And my final thoughts on war for the day, I hope. The quagmire that we have blundered into from the get go, has zero to do with the competence of the US military at executing operations. The problem is that this war was started out of dubious reasoning that not even the administration who started it can agree upon much less verbally explain it in a coherent manner. The lessons of the past several wars are only valuable if they are studied, otherwise the identical mistakes can and will be ordered to be made by those who consider themselves stabel geniuses and superior to all others in every way imaginable.
